A Monroe County Bank Individual Retirement Account (IRA) is a tax-deferred savings plan with a wide range of maturities. You may put your IRA funds in the following:
- Certificate of Deposit IRA with maturities from 18 months to 60 months and a $1,000 opening deposit
- Variable Rate IRA with an 18 month maturity and a $200 opening deposit

Our MoneyMarket account pays interest and offers the
customer the flexibility to make six (6) debits/transfers of which (6) can be
checks during a monthly statement cycle. Earn market rates with a low opening
deposit of $2,500 and receive the following benefits:
- The moneymarket of interest is paid monthly based on the daily balance.
- NO service charge if you maintain a minimum balance of $2,500; otherwise, $7/month
- $2.00 fee on each debit over six (6) in a month
- Visa CheckCard (subject to approval)
